First Feather ƸӜƷ Action / Voice

[Early this nice morning, Kohaku had woken up very confused, with a whole jumble of new-ish memories. She didn't even start to walk around until she figured out how to make new holes in the back of her clothes again. But once she did, she found herself looking around the forest looking like a kid on Christmas morning. Oddly excited, oh so very curious, but very, very lost and confused. And instead of trying to remember anything so suddenly, she looks up to the tree she had been placed under.]

Might you know why I'm here? [The journal may not pick up any other sound than the wind, but Kohaku got one loud and clear.] Oh...that sounds familiar...Thank you.

[Once she got her answer, nothing else is heard over the journals. Instead she has started to roam, and memories of the forest had mostly came back to her as she almost instinctively finds her way to the village. Though by that time, she has already gathered a few friends.

As she walk around, it's almost impossible to not notice the pretty red birds. Each on one shoulder. And a bunny she's holding, carrying it ontop of her journal. Talking to them, and asking questions quite often. But she does have that confused look of a new feather, but at least not the clothes. Just don't mind her staring at you as you walk by, since she is trying her best to remember people now.

Eventually though, later in the day she can be found situated very neatly by the fountain, under a tree. Yes, sitting in the snow, still watching people, but she's finally remembers the most important thing. The book she's been carrying around all day!]

Uhm....hello? If I'm remembering this right, people can hear me!

I've been gone a very long time, but everything looks familiar so it might be longer for me than it was here. I would really like to know if some of my friends are still here, if that's not too much trouble.

Oh no, wait! I'm sorry, I'm supposed to introduce myself first... [She figures it's a bit too late, she she lets out an almost depressed sigh.] My name's Kohaku...I guess it's obvious I was here before now...

[He's not going to address the "that's good", he has given up on fighting it. Smoker can spoil Hyoga all he wants, Ikki washes his hands on the matter, if they leave and the animal dies because it's unable to live by itself it's not his problem.

Besides he likes the way Hyoga is anyway.]

[She would most likely apologize for not knowing them.]

[So she's just a bit older now! She just doesn't look it.]

[She's way too nice. Or maybe Ikki's the one who's way too much of a jerk most of the time.

He hums at the answer.]

No wonder you had time to practice. You don't look any bit older though, perk of being an angel I suppose.

Anyway, I'll go join you now. Wait for us around where you are.

[No, he doesn't ask where she is, he doesn't need that if he can sense her energy and track it down.]

[No, she's just way to nice. If possible, she's gotten even nicer over the time she's been gone.]

That's right, I don't actually know when I'll start to look older.

Alright. [She won't move!]

[Ikki wouldn't believe that if anyone told him, Kohaku was already one of the nicest beings around, she can't get any nicer, it would create a paradox.

Anyway Ikki doesn't bother with the journal more than that, instead going to where she is. Easy since she doesn't move from there. So it's not long before Kohaku can see an arctic wolf running towards her happy and excited to see her again, with Ikki close behind him.]

Welcome back, Kohaku.

[Since he didn't say it before.]

You really haven't changed at all, after two hundred years I find it hard to believe you will ever look older.

[And when the wolf get's close enough, Kohaku will happily hug and pet him. She missed him too.]

[Even if this place isn't the safest or the best place she could possibly be, it's nice to see everyone again.]

Not at all? I guess it will take a very long time for me to look older.

Well... You seem a bit smaller. But maybe I have gotten taller or I'm just not remembering right.

Are there angels that look like elder people?

[Really hard to believe, but whatever.]

You haven't missed much as far as I know, at least nothing too important. As you can see we're still here, experiments still happen, there's still a war going out there and anyone sane still wants to get out of here or have never arrived in the first place.

[Same old Luceti. At least there's no new kinds of crazy, though it's hard for it to get any worse.]

[Look at that he's actually somewhat optimistic, having a girlfriend has done wonders to him. Imagine what he would have said if he didn't have one.]

Anyway, do you want to check if they got your usual clothes? Or are you fine as you are now?

[Good for him. Being optimistic is very good as well.]

That's alright, I can still make my own clothes.

Then should we go get you food or do you want to do something else?

[Optimistic or not, Ikki's still pretty straight-minded about things to do.]

[Yeah, she's been gone a little to long..]

You would have more luck getting an interesting answer for that asking a tree. Unless you want to go look at what books are there at the library there's nothing else I can suggest to do. Assuming that you don't want to train or spar.

[Which it's obviously not her thing.]

I think just getting food is enough..

[And trees don't give interesting answers..]

[He's sure they would give a more interesting answer than he does.]

Food is it then. Maybe you'll meet someone else you remember on the way, that will be good, right?

[He nods as he starts to head for the groceries store, Hyoga will walk along Kohaku's side.]

... I guess a lot has happened to you in those two hundred years, everything fine back there?

[Ikki trying to be social and polite. The awkwardness is painfully obvious.]

Everything is fine. Which makes me wonder why they decided to bring me back here. [And she'll follow, petting Hyoga even as they walk.]

How have you been?

You say that as if you would bring back here only if there were problems back at your world. Isn't it better if everything is fine there? No need to worry about it.

[Ikki hums a bit.]

I've been fine. I don't remember if you ever met her before you left, but I've a girlfriend now. For the time being I suppose.

[Aka for as long as they are in Luceti and they remember each other, he's not the type to think that the relationship could go on if either of them or both left or left and returned with no memories. To begin with the relationship should have never existed but he has given up on that since long ago.]

But the last time I was here, it was during the worst time possible. So I can't help but be curious.

Maybe they are trying to compensate, bring you when it's the worst time possible and then when everything is fine. Assuming there's a reason as to why we're brought here anyway other than to bother us.

It could be worse yes. Besides that, a few people came and left but that's normal in this place. Smoker got his girlfriend back as well, though I don't know how that is going given how he is.

[Ikki's still baffled that he's the one technically better than Smoker regarding relationships.]

[Since she lives with Shuichiro, it would make sense that the girlfriends would be living with them, right?]

She's not staying with us, rather has her apartment near ours. And even if she lived with us, they could just share a room and leave the other free for you.

[Kohaku, do you think Ikki is the type to offer shelter to people if that's going to be an annoyance or if there's not space for it? He's not so charitable.]

[He eyes you, Kohaku, but says nothing else. Out of the pair that he forms with Smoker, Ikki's actually the one with less social skills and capacity to maintain a conversation. So he will remain silent for most of the rest of the way until the groceries shop unless she talks first.

Once in the store his skills won't level up though.]
