[It's been over three weeks since Kohaku has come back here. All of her memories seem to be back...that she's aware of. And she's been out and around everywhere just about everyday since her first day back. Mostly she's been trying to find things to do, but since it is winter, her attempts at finding things to do just hasn't gotten her anywhere. Back home she had gotten used to having things to do. But here? She has no errands, and more importantly, she has no garden to take care of. And while she does like winter, spring is closer to her favorite. So today seems like a good day to ask for something to do, and she knows the perfect thing.]

Hello. To those that are taking care of the flower shop, I was wondering if I could help out too. I'm very good at taking care of plants, since I take care of a garden back home, and I miss that very much already. So if you say yes, I promise I'll do really good. I can even do all of the watering that's needed!

If not, I undertand. There's probably a few people there already.

[After asking, she can't help but feel a little anxious, since she really would like to be there and have something to do. So while she waits, she'll go looking for something to keep herself busy. And not long after, she's found herself at one of the bridges, and seeing that there's still some ice to walk on. So she'll walk down to the frozen water, setting her open journal on the grass near her as she steps onto the ice.

She never had the chance to walk on ice, especially since the only water back home by Shuichiro's house. People got mad at the children who would even look like they were about to try it.

So if you're nearby, there might be an interesting scene going on. She doesn't have the right shoes on for walking on ice.]

Not at all. Though I was confused about it when I first got here. [And she brightens up at that.] That's a good way to say it! Thank you.

[She must have gotten some strange reactions to the idea of being an angel; there were different interpretations of the presence of angels, from what he knew (which wasn't all that much, really).]

So is that what angels are like in your world? You only appear rarely around humans?

Sort of. Some people can see us when we still have our wings out, but the rest of the time we can be seen.

[He looks at her, quirking a brow in slight confusion.]

So you have another pair of wings hidden away somewhere?

Yes, would you like to see them?

[Well, since she seems so pleased by the idea...]

Sure. If that's no trouble.

It's not. [But just give it a moment and he'll be able to see her bigger wings...though they don't glow as bright as they used to.]

[The translucent wings are something of an awe-inspiring sight, even for someone as down-to-earth as Akihiko. He tilts his head from side to side, taking in her wings from different angles.]

Do they do anything? Can you fly with them?

[Then she'll turn a bit so he can have a better look.]

No, I don't need them to fly. They're just there. But I can fly without them.

Well...they do help capture more sunlight, but other than that, yes.

Capturing sunlight? That doesn't sound familiar.

Angels in my world live off of sunlight and fresh air.

I see. [...] Doesn't sound difficult to live off of, in most worlds. [But he finds himself thinking about the Dark Hour and just how something like that would affect an angel like Kohaku.]

It's not. I just have to remember to stay outside longer during winter. [Because with not enough, she gets exhausted, and her magic is much weaker.]

Artificial sunlight doesn't help, does it? You wouldn't get anything out of staying in the battle dome?

I would think it wouldn't. I've never tried...but the real sun is special.

That's what I was thinking. The idea just popped in my head. [He looks a little apologetic.]

[She's curious now. And oh, she almost forgot. Her wings will fade out of sight now.] You're welcome.

[He nods, looking a little pleased that he'd given her an idea.]

I should probably get back to my workout; I haven't even cleared a quarter mile yet. [He shakes his head at himself.] Tell me what you find out, whenever you test out the battle dome.

I will. And it was nice meeting you. [She'll even wave this time, instead of bow.]

You too, Kohaku. Have fun on the ice. [He doesn't even mention "be careful," after their talk. With a brief wave, he turns and continues on his jog down the path.]
