[Kohaku has been quiet for a decent amount of time to think. And with all that time to think, comes with thinking about everything that happened the first time she was here. With that time today, she props her journal sets for the journal by a nearby tree, knowing that it's on, but says nothing for a few minutes. It's almost impossible for her to ask this question...She won't talk too loud, but it's enough for people to hear her.]

Is it...Would it be considered strange for a person that can only fall in love once, for any sort of reason...to fall in love here, then back at home? I've been thinking about it for a while. Every way I think about it, it sounds like it shouldn't happen...

[She honestly expects no one will answer, so she picks up her journal, and that's when she starts walking around town. But not in any normal sense of the word. Today, she actually looks more like an angel. Wings and floating around. (Though sometimes taking a random step, but that doesn't do anything. It just makes her look a little odd.

But while not in town, she can be found hopping over the bridge, and if not seeing her then, she can be found on the outside of the bridge, making ice swirls with any water she can pick up and set on the edge of the bridge.]

I didn't, but I remember the last time I was here. And yes, many people can fall in love multiple times, but I'm not even human.

So... is there something that prevents you from falling in love more than once?

This isn't really the same thing, but I have plenty of friends that I love, both here and at home. It's not a problem for me!

Yes, being an angel.

Friends are different though...

What's an angel? Is it some sort of creature?

Sort of...the best way I can think of how to explain it is that we come from a place called heaven. We have magic and can only do good. We watch over the people, and if a human helps an angel we are to grant a wish.

That doesn't sound too out of the ordinary. Well, besides the wishing part. What about being an angel limits your ability to fall in love?

[amberguardian]

I don't know exactly, but once an angel falls in love, they are attached to that soul forever.

[fourthgenerationprincess]

Wow, that's... actually kind of amazing. So your dilemma is that you've attached yourself to one soul here and another one back home?

[amberguardian]

It's amazing? [Kohaku finds it quite normal...] That's right. That's why I'm confused.

I might think about it this way. You live out a lifetime here and it's anypony's guess whether or not you'll remember it at home. So maybe there isn't anything wrong with you loving this person.

[ Twilight's a little confused, still -- it's foreign to her to be able to only love one person -- but she'll run with it. And she certainly doesn't see why feelings of affection like that shouldn't be acted on. ]

I didn't remember it at home, but I remembered the last time I was here.And now that I know I'm with someone back home, I can't love anybody here.

[She still can care about everyone she's ever met though.]

But your question was about it happening the other way around, right? You fell in love with somepony here, then somepony back home. That means you'd have lost your memories of the first person. I guess it causes a bit of a problem if you come back to this person, but...

That's right. It's mostly just confusing right now.

No, she's not. Neither of them are here.
