I've been here so long, and I should've wondered this before...does anyone know just how high up the barrier goes? It's not very important, but it  sounds like a good question...maybe I should've tried it.

Oh...and Okita...I found a cat...I was wondering if I could keep her. [She has to ask...there are already a few animals in the house.


Later in the day Kohaku can be found on a bench in the middle of town, but she's not alone. Wrapped up in a scarf that's in her lap is indeed, a fluffy little white kitten. Luckily she knows enough about cats so she doesn't need to ask anyone how to take care of them. So she can be seen happily giving it small bites of cheese.

And if anyone around during one awkward moment, well...her face just say's 'something is wrong'.

Why?

Well she finally got the guts to take a bite of cheese. One she specifically found only made out of cheese and minerals. And after going 300 years of only having milk and honey...well, it tastes weird, and she doesn't know how to react...it's a miracle she doesn't look sick.]


Much later in the day, she returns to her journal]

Just...what is cheese supposed to taste like..?

[A cat - Souji has bad history with cats, but this is Kohaku and Kohaku is always special to him. He doesn't have to think of it much harder than that before he gives his answer.]

Well it's not 'pposed to taste a lot like milk. But it's made out of milk so sometimes it kind o' does!

[It just so happened that Eley was passing through during the time Kohaku was perched on that bench. Seeing a familiar face, he might have gone to greet her anyway, but when he looks over he can't help but notice there's a rather befuddled look on her face.

Coming closer, he also sees the bundle in her lap, but was more curious about her own well-being at the moment to comment.]

Kohaku, yes? Is something the matter?

[It takes her a moment to snap out of the confusion before looking up at him, then points to her mouth.]

...It tastes weird....

[Hmm... he bends down to take a closer look at what she's eating, though he can't say he's ever tried something like that before.]

I am afraid I do not recognise it as something I have eaten. What is it?

Ooh, ooh! I remember this one. [Yuri Nakamura had him use Appa to check the height of the barrier once upon a time.] It goes up... about ten miles!

Also, you can keep any cats you want and cheese tastes great!

Oh, wow...I'm glad I didn't try then, I don't know if I can fly up that high.

I had to ask who I live with before knowing I could keep her though.

I found a type that's only made out of milk and minerals.

[To his understanding, cheese was usually made with milk that had possibly fermented and had bacteria cultures added to it. The only way for a cheese to be made of only milk and minerals was with a replicator... ]
