[It's been over three weeks since Kohaku has come back here. All of her memories seem to be back...that she's aware of. And she's been out and around everywhere just about everyday since her first day back. Mostly she's been trying to find things to do, but since it is winter, her attempts at finding things to do just hasn't gotten her anywhere. Back home she had gotten used to having things to do. But here? She has no errands, and more importantly, she has no garden to take care of. And while she does like winter, spring is closer to her favorite. So today seems like a good day to ask for something to do, and she knows the perfect thing.]

Hello. To those that are taking care of the flower shop, I was wondering if I could help out too. I'm very good at taking care of plants, since I take care of a garden back home, and I miss that very much already. So if you say yes, I promise I'll do really good. I can even do all of the watering that's needed!

If not, I undertand. There's probably a few people there already.

[After asking, she can't help but feel a little anxious, since she really would like to be there and have something to do. So while she waits, she'll go looking for something to keep herself busy. And not long after, she's found herself at one of the bridges, and seeing that there's still some ice to walk on. So she'll walk down to the frozen water, setting her open journal on the grass near her as she steps onto the ice.

She never had the chance to walk on ice, especially since the only water back home by Shuichiro's house. People got mad at the children who would even look like they were about to try it.

So if you're nearby, there might be an interesting scene going on. She doesn't have the right shoes on for walking on ice.]

To ... see it if was fun? [Walking around on the ice seemed more like asking for a sudden fall than anything else. Ice skates at least had edges to stop on sharply.]

Have you asked if anyone will teach you? I bet there's a lot of people here who have ice-skated.

[Well, she may fall, but at least she's not heavy enough to break the ice.]

I wasn't really planning to learn. I was just doing this to pass some time.

[He glances around, taking in the cold-bitten village and surroundings.]

Probably for the best; there's only a month or so left of winter. Unless this place stays cold through spring.

[He wasn't all that new in Luceti anymore, but he had yet to experience spring in this world.]

Yes, so there's really not much time for me to learn. [She's a slow learner when it comes to sports anyway.]

The spring here has always been nice. It usually has very nice weather.

[Akihiko pauses at that. He hadn't seen this girl around (but when does he really take notice of people?), so he had thought she was somewhat new.]

Have you been here a long time?

Close to a month now. But before, I was here for four years.

[He stares blankly for a moment before her words register. Four years? He's pretty sure that's even longer than Minato.]

So ... you came back. Do you know how long you were gone?

I was told it was about ten to twelve months.

Huh. [He churns that around in his mind for awhile. Minato had just disappeared, and he did not want to get up his hopes on his friends' behalf...]

So you remember being here? You remember everything about Luceti?

I remember almost everything...or at least the important things. I'm learning where everything is in the village again though.

[He nods contemplatively, then seems to realize how out of place the questions must be.]

I have a friend who left recently. I was just ... curious if people could leave for so long and still remember this place.

It differs with every person. Some can have all their memories, some of them, or come back with none at all.

I wouldn't really call it lucky to remember everything though.

[There's a few she would really like to forget.]

I get it. It's just a little hopeful that people can remember even after being gone for almost a year. [Just a little. He couldn't help but wonder how Minato would feel about it, returning to Luceti only be torn away again without warning.

He raises a hand in greeting.] I'm Akihiko, by the way. Akihiko Sanada.

Yes, it's happened many times before, so you can always hope.

[She'll give a slight bow, just making sure she doesn't slip.] My name's Kohaku. Nice to meet you.

[Kohaku. He allows a faint smile at the Japanese syllables; he could still appreciate a little nostalgia for home.]

[She couldn't reach your hand for a handshake.]

I just don't want you falling over on my behalf. No need for the bow. [He continues smiling, slowly walking off of the bridge. He's still in range to talk to Kohaku.]

It's a bit of a habit. [And she was being careful.]

[He muses over that briefly.] You must come from a more formal place than I'm used to, then. But you're from Japan too, right?

That's right. But I even did it in heaven. [Completely normal...]

[... ...Completely normal. He blinks at her.]

Heaven?

Yes, I'm an angel...do you have them in your world?

Not ... in the literal sense. [He takes a moment to recover, blinking at her again. He really shouldn't be surprised, after coming in with the logic that anything was possible in this world if it could be seen on television...

Realizing the actuality of the situation had helped put things in perspective, at least.]

They're figures of myth, in my world.

That's how it is in a lot of worlds it seems.

[She's been through this many times, but at least he knows what an angel is. She is horrible at explaining that.]

Is it upsetting? [She stated that so plainly.] I think they're described as agents of God who only appear to those who are worthy.
